Andes is proud to work with different artisans from the Andes to bring you the most beautiful treasures all the way from South America to your home.

We source the artisans directly and work collaboratively with them to design the products we offer. The creative process is a collective one, where we embrace their knowledge and wisdom. We’re proud to call our artisans partners our friends.

Each piece is unique and has a story to tell. When you purchase an Andes product, you’re bringing a bit of the Andes to your home. But you’re mainly supporting communities, families and livelihoods. You’re protecting traditions and empowering generations to preserve their weaving techniques. You’re protecting the planet.

our treasures come from different parts of the Andes

The Andes are vast and characterise South America as a whole, but weaving techniques and traditions change from community to community. We’re proud to work with artisans from different parts of the Andes - from Mapuches in Patagonia to Wichis in Formosa and Chaco, we’re constantly looking for new partners. Beyond the Andes, we work with talented hat-makers from Buenos Aires - where Argentinian leather comes from. But it isn’t just Argentina, we work with artisans from Bolivia and Perú and are working on new partnerships with artisans, craftsmen and craftswomen from Ecuador and Colombia.
